It truly fits whit the scary techno boss, but i couldn´t imagine this as a battle music, but as a music before the battle begings, it could be perfect!

I guess for me, when I think video game music, I think repetitious. I mean, that's why Mario, Zelda, etc is so stuck in our heads, right? But you're probably right in that I should have gone for more/longer actual melody/tune and maybe relied less on variation to keep it interesting.
